Xbox Game Pass Already Has 6 Day One Games Confirmed for July 2024 (2024)

To date, there are six games confirmed for the Xbox Game Pass July 2024 lineup. Microsoft tends to make official Xbox Game Pass announcements every couple of weeks or so, but release date announcements for individual games often clue fans in on what to expect from the service ahead of schedule.

Just recently, Xbox hosted the Xbox Games Showcase. As expected, the event featured all kinds of exciting announcements, with many of the games on display set to be a part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Some of the announcements helped fill in the gaps for what subscribers can expect from the service in July 2024, with six games currently confirmed for the lineup.

As of the time of this writing, the six games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in July 2024 are Flock and Magical Delicacy on July 16, Dungeons of Hinterberg and Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn on July 18, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess on July 19, and finally, Frostpunk 2 on July 25. There's a great deal of variety between the six day-one games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in July 2024 so far, so there should be something for all gamers. All six of these games are scheduled for the second half of July 2024, so it's still a mystery what the first half of July 2024 is bringing to the table when it comes to Xbox Game Pass.

Out of the six games coming to Xbox Game Pass in July 2024, there are some that stand out. Dungeons of Hinterberg is a stylish action-adventure game that's drawn comparisons to Nintendo's Legend of Zelda franchise, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is a so-called "Souls-lite" from the developers of Ashen that had a very impressive trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is an action-strategy game from Capcom that has largely been flying under the radar, but has had very positive early previews. Frostpunk 2 is a city-building survival game that fans have been waiting to play for years, and it could very well turn out to be the best new game added to Game Pass in July, though the jury is still out.

Based on what's been announced so far, it seems next month is going to be an especially exciting one for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. In the meantime, there are still some new Xbox Game Pass games for June 2024 for subscribers to check out while they wait for the July 2024 offerings.
