Sharp Medicare Advantage members are part of the Sharp Direct Advantage network. This network gives you access to over 1,450 physicians, including primary care physicians and specialists, providing you the flexibility you need wherever you're located.
Plan medical groups
Your plan medical group (PMG) includes a select group of doctors and hospitals associated with the Sharp Direct Advantage network. Keep in mind that you only have access to one PMG at a time. Referrals and prior authorizations do not transfer between PMGs.
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group
This medical group has over 600 primary care physicians and specialists ready to provide you with the care you need. Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group physicians serve these areas of San Diego:

Members can select Sharp Community Medical Group (SCMG), SCMG Palomar Health Medical Group, SCMG Graybill North Coastal or SCMG Inland North Medical Group as their plan medical group. This medical group serves the following areas:

This medical group offers a network of over 100 primary care physicians and specialists dedicated to residents in San Diego's North County. The admitting hospital is Palomar Medical Center Escondido and includes the Vista Community Clinic, a federally qualified health center. The physicians of Greater Tri Cities IPA serve the following locations:
